Hi all!
I want to share with you another amazing cover I have known for a long time: it's Battle of Evermore, by Led Zeppelin.
One of my best friends made me listen to it around 1993: it was part of the soundtrack of the film Singles. It was carefully selected and transferred with love to one of my ancient tape mixes, but after all these years, and moving houses, and losing the tape, I had forgotten who was the performer.
Well... thanks to our powerful friend the Internet, I found the song again and discovered who sang it: it was the Lovemongers, one of the bands led by sisters Nancy and Ann Wilson. They are more known for the band Heart, having released singles like Barracuda and Little Queen.
It's an amazing duet: two great voices and energies make a unique version of this song, as fascinating as the original one.
